A song [...]

God Shows Up At A Campfire

Jim and Linda Kirby of Irmo South Carolina have dreamed about having close friends at their home worshipping the Lord around a campfire singing great songs under the beautiful sky for many years. It finally came to pass. These weren’t campfire songs. These were songs that you may hear in church. Kevin (holy) Smoak assisted [...]

Jean Bridges is a dear friend of mine. We met at another luncheon. I’ve seen Jean at many of my luncheons and she still laughs at my jokes. How sweet. Now she knows what my family and friends have to endure on a daily basis. Thanks to Jean for being my friend.

Ok, this is getting serious. All these luncheons are causing me to buy larger clothes. But man is it worth it!
As I arrived at the church I got lost. Typical Yankee, right? Well, it’s a big place.
The woman giving me directions told another woman that the guy was here to play for the teenagers, so [...]

Wait a minute Mr. Postman

Harvest Church Date Night For Couples

What started out as a little background music while folks enjoyed desert, turned into a wonderful evening of laughter and dancing. Whoops, Pastor did I say dancing? I meant to say talking. We don’t dance in church now , do we? I served up some jazz followed by a little comedy. The people actually [...]

It looked like a typical Michalski Christmas. Gift bags everywhere in the front of the room. Smiling faces were all over the place at Trenholm Road Methodist Church. Once again I joined the Campfire Singers for a good old sing along. From left to right is Me, Marvin Beinstock, Hardy Merritt and Munsy Ridgill.
