God Shows Up At A Campfire
Jim and Linda Kirby of Irmo South Carolina have dreamed about having close friends at their home worshipping the Lord around a campfire singing great songs under the beautiful sky for many years. It finally came to pass. These weren’t campfire songs. These were songs that you may hear in church. Kevin (holy) Smoak assisted me with ushering the presence of the Lord with his amazing skill on the keyboard.
God showed up! The folks said that they really enjoyed it. It was a great time to bask. The heat from the fire warmed the body. The music was like warmth for the soul. I felt it myself during the song “You Are awesome In This Place”.
Did I mention we had some incredible chili? Yep , sure did. That was warmth for the tummy. This was a class act done my Jim and Linda.
I thank God for my new friends, the Kirby’s and anybody else I met tonight. I look for many more of these great times to come. And Kevin. . thanks. Great job!
